URMILA - The home manager is a service that provides domestic solutions for regular household work, babysitting, office care, old age and patient care.

Women undergo training in housekeeping, cooking, patient care, and over all home management. The home managers are registered and have a police clearance and a health check up.

Application Procedure 

A client must register by filling a form and handing it in at the SAATH office with a fee of Rs. 75 (Rupees Seventy Five only). After the registration, the client will meet with an URMILA representative and be oriented to the process and expectations. Upon agreement and availability of the home manager, the client will be inducted into the programme.

• There may be a waiting period depending upon the availability of home managers.
• The cost to the client includes salary of the home manager and the management fees to Saath.
